THE CHALLENGE
Transitions Optical is the manufacturer of Transitions® lenses, the #1-recommended photochromic eyeglass lenses worldwide. Given their vast product portfolio, Transitions seeks assistance to create training programs and opportunities to directly help eye care professionals learn and understand all the benefits associated with their products.
THE SOLUTION
Transitions hired Innereactive to design a comprehensive, all-virtual training program for eye care professionals. The Light Up Your Sales training program curriculum includes deep-drive training on all Transitions products, the revenue opportunity of selling premium lenses, benchmarking, setting goals, patient dialogue scripting for prescribing doctors and opticians, sales training to overcome objections, practice marketing strategies, and techniques designed to improve company culture and implementation of change.
The program included weekly, live-virtual training co-instructed by Innereactive’s President, Samantha Toth, ABOC and Dr. Susan Keene from Envision Eye Care. The nine-week advanced training program also included alternating roundtable sessions designed to give practices one-on-one consulting time to ask their questions. A complete e-blast and social media campaign supported participants of the program, as well as a custom website that anonymously tracked participants lens sales and reported them weekly to all people involved. The growth results were unprecedented.
